What Is Cut Off Mark?

Cut-off mark is the minimum score a candidate must score in JAMB to be eligible to be admitted into a tertiary institution. Meeting or exceeding the cut-off mark gives a candidate a better chance of being invited for Post UTME screening.

In short, cut-off mark is the score used to select candidates for admission. A higher score gives an applicant a better chance to get into his/her desired course but meeting the cut-off mark is not automatic admission.
