A 24-year-old computer engineering student, Jimoh Abdulmueez, studying at Kwara State University (KWASU), has been declared missing.

Jimoh was last seen on Thursday last week when he left the university campus in Malete to return home in Ilorin, but he has not been seen since then.

Despite a report made at the police station on Friday, there has been no progress in locating him.

His mother, Mrs Jimoh Amdalat, has issued a heartfelt appeal to the public, urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact her on 07030889682.

Efforts to reach the institution’s spokesperson, Dr Saeedat Aliyu, were unsuccessful as of Tuesday.

However, a source within the institution revealed that Jimoh’s parents visited the school but could not find any trace of him.
