B. Requires Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics for Biochemistry and Chemistry Technology, Biomedical Technology and Microbiology technology options.
WAEC (O Level) Subject Requirements For Science Laboratory Technology
The list of compulsory WAEC subjects required for Science Laboratory Technology under the faculty of are as follows:
Five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) UNIJOS accepts candidates with pass at the Remedial Science Programme of the University of UNIJOS.
(ii) UNIBEN for Science Laboratory Technology requires five O’ level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and any two of Biology, Physics, Agricultural Science and Geography, depending on the option chosen by the candidate. Candidates opting for Physic/Electronics, Petrochemical Geology and Physiology/Pharmacology Techniques must have credit in Physics.
