WAEC (O Level) Subject Requirements For Building Technology
The list of compulsory WAEC subjects required for Building Technology under the faculty of are as follows:
Five SSCE credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and any one of Geography, Economics, Arts and Technical drawing. For holders of NTC, the other relevant subjects could be Intro. to Building Construction, Bricklaying, Concreting, Walls, Floors and Ceiling Finishing, Building/Engineering Drawing, Joinery, Carpentry, Gas, Steam Work and Bronze Welding, Cold/Hot Water Supply, Sanitation and Drainage.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) BELLS requires Five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one from the following:, Biology, Technical Drawing, Geography, Economics, Building Construction..
(ii) COVENANT requires English Language, Mathematics, Physics and additional two credit passes in the following subjects: Chemistry, Economics, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics, Geography, Land Surveying, Building Construction, Biology and Agricultural Science. At least a pass in Chemistry is also required.
(iii) ABSU requires five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two subjects from Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Geography, Arts and Economics or any NTC relevant subjects.
(iv) BAUCHI requires five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Any other two subjects from Chemistry, Geography, Economics, technical Drawing or relevant trade subjects.
