Courses Offered in SSU 2025/2026 | Full List

Courses Offered in SSU – Interested in the courses at the Sokoto State University, Sokoto? This article has everything you need to know.

Getting into Sokoto State University (SSU) requires meeting a few important requirements. You need at least five credit passes in your O’level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB), including English Language and Mathematics.

These must be obtained in no more than two sittings. JAMB UTME registration is also necessary, and SSU should be your first choice. The required JAMB score varies by course, but aiming for at least 160 increases your chances. After JAMB, the next step is the Post-UTME screening, which may be an online process or a physical test, depending on the department.

Direct Entry (DE) applicants follow a slightly different process. In addition to five O’level credits, other qualifications like an ‘A’ Level certificate, National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or National Certificate in Education (NCE) are required.

The qualification must be relevant to the course you want to study. JAMB Direct Entry registration is also mandatory, and SSU must be chosen as the preferred institution. Some programs may have extra conditions, so checking department-specific requirements is always a good idea.

Before you buy the JAMB Form ensure you know the courses offered in your school, the school Cut Off Mark, and the JAMB subject combination. This is very important for admission.
