4. Leadership and Work Experience
You need to show that you have relevant work experience and must have completed a minimum of full-time employment or equivalent practical experience, although the exact requirements may vary depending on your country of origin.

What Does the Scholarship Cover?

Applicants who are currently living in Sweden will not be eligible for this grant which is only awarded once.
4. Expert Network
You will join the SI Network for Future Global Professionals (NFGP) as a scholarship holder. You can develop your leadership skills, network with other academics, and participate in various workshops and events on this exclusive platform. Being part of this network will also give you more visibility and collaboration with like-minded professionals.
5. Alumni Network Access
You will receive an invitation to join the SI Alumni Network upon completion of your studies and scholarship. You can attend alumni events, stay in touch with other scholars, and get ongoing support for your professional and personal development through this global network.
Many alumni go on to lead organizations, launch community-benefiting projects or work on international development projects.
When and How to Apply for Regional University Scholarships in Sweden for International Students 2025/2026
The SI Scholarship application process takes place once a year, usually a few months before the fall semester. Make sure your programme is eligible before applying to a Swedish master’s programme through the University Admissions website.
You can then submit a separate application for the SI scholarship after you have received confirmation of your application or admission.
