International Higher Education Scholarship, which is the focus of TaiwanICDF, offers open scholarships to the brightest students of partner countries to study in Taiwan with local universities.
TaiwanICDF Scholarship aims to enhance the social-economic development of partner countries by developing highly talented individuals. This program also promotes the internationalization of universities in Taiwan and broadens the international outlook of Taiwan youth.
Since 1998, TaiwanICDF has partnered with local universities in Taiwan to form Taiwan International Cooperation Alliance (TICA) and it provides the base for the scholarship program under this TICA structure.

All Undergraduate Programs only accept applications submitted by citizens of allied countries of ROC(Taiwan).
- A photocopy of the applicant’s passport or other document showing proof of nationality.
- A photocopy of the applicant’s highest-level diploma and academic transcripts.
- A photocopy of applicant’s English proficiency certificate.

How To Apply for TaiwanICDF International Higher Education Scholarship Program for International Students
- Apply for the ICDF Scholarship through the online application form available on the TaiwanICDF Scholarship online application system.
- Upload all required application materials through the online system.
- Each applicant can only apply for one program at a time. Applicants must submit a separate program application directly to their chosen universities.
- Applicants must also meet the document requirements of the TaiwanICDF partner schools of their intended application.
- Contact points of applicants are the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/Consulate General/ Representative Office. They will do a brief review on initial basis of the eligibility criteria and standards of selection established by the Taiwan ICDF.
