- €11,000 gross study grant for Unibo Action 2 applicants
- Tuition fee waivers for Unibo Action 1 applicants
- Study grants and tuition fee waivers for one academic year based on SAT and GRE scores. Renewal is subject to satisfactory academic standing during the previous academic year.
Eligibility Criteria for University of Bologna Scholarships in Italy 2025:
- All international students (non-EU and EU)
- Legitimate qualification from a recognized institution to access the desired degree programme
- Under 30 years old
- Master’s degree programmes require GRE (for second-cycle degree programmes) or SATs (for first- or single-cycle degree programmes)
- Open to Italian students as well
- Proof of financial standing must be submitted by all applicants.
Required Documents:
- Proof of a non-Italian degree valid for second-cycle admission.
- GRE scores sent to code 7850.
- ISEE certificate (€16,000–€35,000) or equivalent financial proof.
- Valid passport or ID.
Application
If you don’t have a Unibo login and password (institutional credentials), you will need to register on the application page.
- Go to the studenti.unibo.it platform.
- Complete the required fields and follow the guidelines to generate a Unibo username and password.
- A personal password needs to be used in place of the PUK code after the initial access.
Required Documents
- a copy of your passport, right now. EU citizens can attach a copy of their ID.
- duplicates of your unofficial GRE or SAT results.
- A document attesting to the credentials needed to get admitted to the selected degree program
Selection Process
The following are considered for the selection of the candidates who will receive the University of Bologna scholarship:
- GRE and SAT results.
- The university director will arrange the applications in a ranking order.
- The rank list will determine who gets the funds.
- Applicants will get tuition fee waivers based on the courses they will choose.
Forty applicants who show academic achievement will be eligible to get tuition fee waivers through the University of Bologna grant. The university offers 74 master’s courses in English, including law, economics, agriculture, humanities and 12 bachelor’s degrees in engineering, political science and statistics. After the course, the university provides internships and placements. The scholarship includes transportation, accommodation and medical support.
