The list of compulsory WAEC subjects required for Hausa under the faculty of are as follows:
Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language and Hausa.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) BUK requires five O’ Level Credit passes
to include English, Hausa plus three other subjects
(ii) UMYUK requires five O/Level credit passes in SSCE or its equivalent including English Language, Hausa and at least any other three Arts/Social Science subjects with a pass in Mathematics.
(iii) ABU requires Five ‘O’ level credit passes to include English Language Hausa and any three Arts or Social Science subjects.
(iv) KASU accepts English, Hausa and any other subjects from Arts or Social Science as UTME subjects.
