JAMB Subject Combination For Educational Management
The required JAMB subject subject combination for Educational Management are:
Economics, Mathematics and one other Social Science/Arts subject.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) TASUED – Mathematics, Government and any other relevant subject.
(ii) UI – requires English Language, the subject area of specialization and one each from Arts, Social Sciences or Sciences.
(iii) NDU accepts Social Science subjects.
(iv) LASU requires candidate’s teaching subject or any other subject where the candidate’s teaching subject is Economics.
(v) UNIBEN accepts:
a. Management Economics: Accepts Economics, Mathematics and one other Social Science/Art Subject.
b. Management Political Science and Public Administration: Accepts Government or History, one Social Science subject and any other subject.
WAEC (O Level) Subject Requirements For Educational Management
The list of compulsory WAEC subjects required for Educational Management under the faculty of are as follows:
Same as in Educational Psychology, Guidance and Counseling.
Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks
(i) TASUED requires Five ‘O’ level credits at one sitting or six ‘O’ level credits at two sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and other subjects from Arts, Social Science or Science.
(ii) UI – requires 5 ‘O’ level credit passes at one sitting to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and other subjects from Arts, Social Sciences or Sciences.
(iii) AAUA requires Economics, Mathematics and one other Social Science subjects.
(iv) UNILORIN accepts a pass in Mathematics in lieu of credit pass.
(v) LASU requites credit pass in candidate’s teaching subject. The teaching subjects are Economics, Geography, Political Science (Government), Business Administration (Business Studies) and Accounting.
(vi) BSU accepts GR II Teachers Certificate with credit/merit passes in five subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings.
