The 2026–2027 Rotary Peace Fellowship Program is divided into two categories. Rotary Scholarships is for master’s students and Rotary Fellowships is for professional development certificate programs. Both programs are on development and peace. Professionals and researchers with extensive experience teach students in these programs. Alumni networking allows them to join a large learning community. Similarly professionals in the Rotary Peace program get real world experience and work with other professionals in this one year blended curriculum.

Eligibility Criteria for Selection of the Rotary Peace Fellowship Program
To be eligible for this International Rotary Fellowship 2024 you must meet all the requirements of the Rotary Peace Fellowship program. Here are the main requirements:
- English proficiency.
- Work experience.
- Proof of academic success and volunteer or personal work.
- Bachelor’s degree before starting a master’s program.
- Master’s degree students must have at least three years of relevant experience between the start of the fellowship program and their latest degree.
- Currently enrolled in graduate or undergraduate studies are not eligible.
- Certificate students must have five years of relevant experience plus the same requirements.
- Certificate students must explain their strategy.
- Applications from people with disabilities are welcome.
- A person must wait three years before enrolling for a master’s degree after completing a certificate program or winning a global award scholarship.
- Employees of Rotary Clubs, active members of Rotary, and those employed by Rotary International or other Rotary organizations are not eligible.

You can list your preferred Peace Center(s) when you apply but final placement is decided by Rotary. They look at your background, goals and language skills to match you with the best program. It’s not guaranteed you’ll be placed at your first choice but they try to choose the center where you will succeed the most. So, research all centers and be open to different options.
4. What kind of peace project or work plan do I need to propose during the fellowship
For the professional development certificate program, you’ll need to design a social change initiative that you will work on during the fellowship. This should be a project that matches your community’s needs and your professional skills. It doesn’t have to be perfect from the start but it should be realistic and meaningful. Rotary will help you develop and improve your plan once you’re accepted but having a clear starting idea is important for your application.
5. Does the Rotary Peace Fellowship support long term career growth after the program ends
Yes, the support doesn’t stop when the program ends. Rotary Peace Fellows become part of a global alumni network that includes job connections, mentorship, conferences and even grants for new peace projects. Many fellows find new opportunities through this network. Also, Rotary itself often shares roles or openings that match your experience. So, the fellowship can open new paths and help you grow for many years beyond your graduation.
