Any candidate who want to study in Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) must get their O’Level result ready. You must have at least 5 credit passes in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB. English Language and Mathematics must be among the 5 subjects.
After O’Level, the next is JAMB. You must register and sit for the UTME exam, choose MAPOLY as your institution. Your score must meet the cut-off mark for your chosen course.

About the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY)
Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, or MAPOLY, is a school in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. It started in January 1979 as Ogun State Polytechnic. At first, classes were held in temporary places at Oke-Egunya and Onikolobo. In 1985, the school moved to its permanent home in Ojere which is 959 hectares of land.
In 1998 after the death of Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, a great supporter of the school, it was renamed Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in his honour.
Today MAPOLY has five schools:

- Environmental Studies
- Science and Technology
Each school has various programs for students.
For 2024/2025 academic session, MAPOLY started selling form on August 15, 2024. The sales of forms closed on October 31, 2024.
The new session started on December 2, 2024 and registration is on till December 27, 2024. New students are to accept their admission offer by December 5, 2024.
Mid-semester test will hold from February 24 to March 1, 2025. Matriculation ceremony where new students will be officially admitted into the school will be on April 3, 2025.
MAPOLY is still providing quality education to equip students for their future career.
