About the Kaduna State University (KASU)
Kaduna State University (KASU) is a public university located in Kaduna State, Nigeria. Founded in 2004, KASU offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across disciplines like sciences, social sciences, arts, education and management sciences.
We are committed to quality education, innovation through research and contribution to state and national development. Our mission is to deliver comprehensive education of the highest standard, individual growth and state progress and inculcating love, tolerance, understanding and unity.
The school vision is to be a world class with excellence in applied sciences and sustainability studies. As of 2024, the Vice Chancellor is Professor Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa who is emphasis on teaching excellence, collaborative learning and research. KASU main campus is in Kaduna and we have faculties, departments and institutes in different fields of study.
In November 2024, KASU Department of History inducted students into Historical Society of Nigeria for the first time, a milestone in promoting historical scholarship and national development.
